Coverage Details

If the mattress sleeping surface becomes stained while correctly protected by a Flexi Pillow mattress protector, Flexi Pillow will:

• Arrange for the mattress and protector to be assessed by our mattress cleaning personnel

• If the stain is determined to be caused by faulty workmanship or fabric failure, Flexi Pillow will arrange professional cleaning and sanitisation of the mattress at no cost, provided the claim is within the warranty period
• If the mattress is deemed uncleanable, Flexi Pillow may, at its discretion:
• Return the mattress to the factory for restoration, or
• Replace the mattress at no cost
• Provide a cash amount equivalent to the purchase price pro-rated to take into account the age of the mattress and the original mattress warranty period.

Any replacement mattress will be of comparable quality. Specifications may vary if identical materials are no longer available.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not apply to defects, damage, or staining caused by:

• Misuse, negligence, or failure to follow care and use instructions (including
improper laundering or application)
• Commercial or non-domestic use
• Normal wear and tear, everyday soiling or stains, or odours of the protector itself
• Stains where the mattress was not properly covered by the protector
• Mattress sides or internal filling
• Bed frames, bedding, linen, or other related furniture
• Floor stock, seconds, used, or display mattresses
• Damage caused by corrosive liquids
• Damage occurring during transit or while turning the mattress
• Cigarettes, fire, natural disasters, or flood damage
• Damage caused by pets
• Exposure to weather or environmental elements
• Unexplained or unidentifiable stains or damage
• Damage caused by individuals that suffer from chronic incontinence and/or gastrointestinal issues that require the protector to be washed more than once every 4 to 6 weeks.
• Damage caused by washing the protector more than once every 4 to 6 weeks.

⚠️ Important

The warranty will be void if any attempt is made to clean the mattress using
substances other than gently wiping away a fresh stain.

Washing Instructions (Mattress Protector)

• Cold, gentle machine wash recommended
• Warm wash permitted up to 60°C
• Wash before first use
• Wash every 4–6 weeks
• Do not use bleach or solvents — this will damage the protector and void the warranty

Drying Instructions

• Air dry with maximum surface exposure to allow good airflow
• If machine drying, tumble dry on low heat with other bed linen
• Careful drying helps reduce blistering of the waterproof layer
• Blistering is caused by incorrect heat settings — discontinue use immediately, as this will void the warranty
• Do not iron or dry clean

Using an Electric Blanket

• You may use an electric blanket with this mattress protector, provided the
electric blanket is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and on a low heat setting only. The electric blanket should be placed directly on the mattress, with the mattress protector fitted over the top. Always ensure the electric blanket lies flat and is not folded or creased.

• Using electric blankets on high heat, for extended periods, or incorrectly may cause heat damage to the mattress protector. Common signs of heat damage include blistering, bubbling, stiff or brittle areas, cracking, peeling, or separation of the waterproof backing. Damage caused by heat or improper use of an electric blanket is considered misuse and is not covered by warranty.
